SPKids Events:
Welcome to Our Children's Church!
At South Park Baptist Church, we believe that children are a precious gift from God, and we are committed to helping them grow in their relationship with Him. Our Children's Church is a safe, fun, and engaging environment where kids can learn about God's love, the Bible, and how to live a life of faith. We’re excited to partner with families in nurturing the next generation of believers!
Age Groups & Classes
We have age-appropriate classes designed to meet the developmental needs of each child:.
- Preschool (Ages 3-4): Preschoolers will enjoy interactive Bible lessons, crafts, and songs that introduce them to God’s amazing story in a way they can understand.
- Elementary (Grades K-5th): Through worship, storytelling, and group discussions, elementary-aged children dive deeper into the Bible and learn practical ways to live out their faith daily.
Service Times & Location
Children's Church is available during the following service times:
- Sunday Mornings:
- 9:30 a.m. Bible Study Hour
- 10:30 a.m. Worship Service
All children are checked in at the check in station and must be picked up by a parent or guardian after service. We look forward to seeing your family!
Our Curriculum
We use the Baptist Publishing and North Point curriculum to guide our weekly lessons. This curriculum provides age-appropriate, engaging, and Bible-based lessons designed to teach children about God’s love and His plan for their lives. Each week, your child will participate in worship, storytelling, group activities, and more!
Safety & Security
Your child’s safety is our top priority. All of our volunteers are background-checked, and we have a secure check-in/check-out system to ensure your child is safe at all times. We also maintain allergy awareness and have a trained team ready to assist with any special needs.

Check-In & Check-Out Process
We prioritize the safety and security of your child during their time in Children's Church.
Our Check-In/Check-Out Process is simple and secure to ensure peace of mind for all parents.
- Check-In:
- Upon arrival, head to the Check in station where you'll find our staff/volunteer who will check you in.
- They’ll enter your child’s information, and both you and your child will receive matching name tags.
- The child’s name tag will include their name, and any important allergy or special needs information.
- You’ll keep the parent pick-up tag, which is required for check-out.
- Check-Out:
- After service, return to your Child's classroom with your parent pick-up tag.
- Our volunteers will verify the matching tags before releasing your child to you.
- For added safety, no child will be released without the corresponding pick-up tag, ensuring only authorized adults can take them.
- This process helps ensure a smooth, safe, and secure environment for your children while they learn and grow in their faith.
