At SPBC, we believe that even the youngest members of our congregation are a precious part of our church family. Our nursery provides a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for infants and toddlers during our worship services and church events.

Our Mission Our mission is to offer a welcoming and secure space where children can experience God's love through caring interactions, age-appropriate activities, and positive relationships.

Nursery Hours The nursery is open during the following times:

• Sunday Worship Services: 9:30a-Bible Study Hour/10:30a-Worship Hour
• Wednesday Evening Services: 7:00p-8:00p
• Special Church Events: As announced

Here's what to expect when visiting SPBCNursery for the first time:

First, find one of our greeters located by the front door.

• Safety and Security: The safety of your child is our top priority. Our nursery staff and volunteers are carefully screened and trained. We follow strict check-in and check-out procedures to ensure each child’s security.
• Loving Care: Our experienced and nurturing nursery team is dedicated to providing attentive and compassionate care to every child.
• Engaging Activities: We offer a variety of age-appropriate toys, books, and activities designed to stimulate your child's development and introduce them to God's love.
• Clean Environment: Our nursery is kept clean and sanitized to provide a healthy space for your little ones.

Drop-Off Procedure

Check-In Location:

• One of our door greeters will assist you to the check in location.
• One of our volunteer or staff member will assist parents with the check-in process.

Registration:

• If it’s the child’s first time, there will be a QR code where the parents will fill out a registration form with essential information (name, age, allergies, special needs, emergency contacts, etc.).
• For regular attendees, we will have an electronic check-in system.

Identification Tags:

• Our check-in volunteer will hand the child a name tag with their name and any specific instructions (e.g., allergies).
• We will provide the parent or guardian with a matching tag that will be needed for pick-up.

Drop-Off Area:

• Our Nursery volunteers will ensure that children are greeted warmly and introduced to the activities and toys available.

Security:

• We will always ensure that only authorized nursery staff and volunteers are allowed in the nursery area.
• We will always keep the doors secure to prevent unauthorized access.

Pickup Procedure

Matching Tags:

• When parents return to pick up their children, they must present the matching tag they received at drop-off.
• Nursery Volunteers will verify the matching tag before releasing the child.

Authorized Pick-Up List:

• Nursery Volunteers will ensure that children are only released to individuals with the matching tag.

Communication:

• We will provide parents with any necessary updates about their child’s time in the nursery, such as behavior, activities they enjoyed, or any incidents that occurred.
